Dominique Rivas is the owner and founder of Olivia’s Plants, a pop-up plant shop located in Warsaw, Indiana. She offers a variety of houseplants, cacti, dried floral art, plant propagations, and also host succulent and cactus bars. While she doesn’t have a storefront yet, you can place your orders online or pickup them up locally! Dominique began her business in her front yard selling plant propagations for $1 apiece and was thankful if just one person came to her front yard plant stand. Although at times she was discouraged, she persevered, listened to her gut, and it eventually took off!
Dominique is a wife and mom who loves God and loves sharing God’s creation with her community. She’s very into all things plants, has a background in photography and graphic design, and adores spending her days playing with her kids. She’s also a fan of cheesy reality tv shows, going on dates with her husband, fashion, makeup, cats, and coffee!
When asked to share some wisdom with other women wanting to start their own business, Dominique shared,
“Believe in yourself, invest in yourself, and don’t be afraid to let people see who you are!”
