Gabrielle Snethen is the owner and founder of The Midwest Tan, a mobile spray tanning business out of Warsaw, Indiana. Gabby is a Florida native with a passion for bringing that southern sunshine and glowing skin to the Midwest year-round! She has friends and family members that have been affected by skin cancer, so she loves being able to offer a safe option for people that gives them the tan they want all year long. Her mobile tanning business took off in August of 2021 with the help of some encouragement from friends in the beauty industry. Gabby has currently completed 3,000 spray tans in Warsaw and the surrounding areas. She travels up to 60 miles to offer clients a spray tan in the comfort of their own home. Gabby takes pride in being a spray tan expert, having been certified twice and continuously taking courses to learn even more about the art.
Gabby is a wife and mother of three boys, and they have two fluffy ragdoll cats named Bart and Abner. She and her husband love to travel with their kids and agree that making memories with their family is the best part of life! She feels that Warsaw has welcomed them with open arms and can’t imagine raising their family anyplace else.
When asked to share a word of wisdom with other women wanting to start their own business, Gabby said,
“Don’t hesitate! It will always be a scary step at the beginning, but this town supports their small businesses!”
