Jennifer Garden is part owner of Alpha Manufacturing & Design, a company in Warsaw, Indiana that operates as a one stop shop for all your medical device needs. Jennifer and her husband, Ben, started Alpha Manufacturing & Design in 2008 and have been working side-by-side ever since. Jennifer’s role at Alpha is to assist in overseeing the company’s finances through bookkeeping and purchasing. Jennifer and Ben’s team approach allows them to manifest their vision together.
“We have faced lows and setbacks but as a team”, says Jennifer, “we have accomplished much and continue to grow a successful business together.”
Jennifer is a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children. She loves being outdoors, traveling, and any activity involving water – especially wake surfing and watching sunsets! She was born and raised in Kosciusko County and has so enjoyed raising her family in the same community she grew up in. Jennifer attended Wawasee High School and is a graduate of Purdue University. In her spare time, she volunteers for her youth program at church and helps with a program called, Warrior Swimming.
As a woman business owner, Jennifer shared that her gifts in the workplace include brining a fresh perspective to certain situations and also having a conservative mindset when it comes to growth and finances which helps to balance out how her and her husband approach business.
When asked to share some advice to other women looking to start their own business, Jennifer said,
“Surround yourself with other successful business owners. You can learn so much from others who have chosen to go down the entrepreneurial path.”
