Lori Richcreek, along with her husband, Daniel, runs and owns Tippy Creek Winery in Leesburg, Indiana. At Tippy Creek Winery, you can relax and enjoy a fun afternoon out while wine tasting with your friends or sit back, relax, and sip a glass outside on their beautiful patio area in the summertime while listening to live music.
Lori has had several career paths in her lifetime including a daycare provider, real estate broker, and bank manager. But nothing compares to running Tippy Creek Winery with her beloved husband. Tippy Creek Winery was a dream that they both shared which started in 2009 when their children gifted them a wine making kit for Christmas.
From there, her husband ran with their passion for sampling and learning about different wines and began making their own wine in their garage at home. From the garage was born a 4,000 square foot building in their own backyard with 6 stainless steel tanks that can hold over 10,000 gallons of wine a year, AKA Tippy Creek Winery!
When she’s not at the winery, you can find her spending time with her husband, Daniel, and their three amazing children.
When asked to share a word of advice for women looking to start their own business, Lori said,
“Stay focused, work hard, and always listen to your gut! Pay it forward when you become successful; there is nothing better than giving rather than just receiving.”
