On January 17th & 24th from 6pm-9pm, Parkview Warsaw will be offering a basic and beyond parenting class! This class is designed to help you feel more confident by teaching you basic parenting skills and more. Partners are encouraged to attend this class with the expecting mother. Topics being covered in this class are as follows; infant care skills, calming a crying baby, protecting your child, choosing a care provider, understanding infant sleep patterns, breastfeeding skills and bottle feeding, car seat safety tips. The American Heart Association Family & Friends Infant and Child CPR and relief from choking course will be taught during the third class of the session. A free portable crib, crib sheet, swaddler and pacifiers will be given to those who qualify. Any woman in her last trimester of pregnancy or who has an infant is welcome to attend!
