I was born and raised in Elkhart, IN and because I love being surrounded by my family, I decided to make it my forever home. I fell into the sphere of insurance by happenstance back in 1985 when I needed a job. I had a friend who owned a local insurance agency, and a year later, that agency was acquired by Holmes Insurance Agency. I have spent the last 33 years perfecting my insurance superpowers in the world of commercial insurance! What started as a means to an end, has turned into a life-long career that I am very grateful for.

In my spare time (if there is such a thing!), I enjoy sewing and doing crafty things such as making wreaths and flower arrangements. When I’m not showing off my creative superpowers, I am spending quality time with my beloved horse, Danny. Horses have been a passion of mine throughout my entire lifetime, so when I found Danny, it was love at first sight! He was 6 years old the day I got him, and he just turned 29 this year – what an awesome 23 years we’ve had together! I can’t, of course, forget about my silly pup Abby. My husband had found Abby as a stray around the place where he worked at the time and decided to bring her home. I was shocked, because my husband very early on in our marriage made it clear he didn’t want to own a dog! She was the best surprise – and she’s been a part of our family now for 13 years.
