Megan Likens is the proud owner of The Beauty Bar, a beauty salon located in North Webster, Indiana. Megan has loved doing hair since she was a little girl, so becoming a licensed cosmetologist was the logical next step! After working in a salon for about a year and half, Megan decided to take the leap and start her own beauty salon in January of 2017 right out of her home! After a few expansions and a lot of prayer, Megan found the perfect building in North Webster to turn The Beauty Bar into her very own brick & mortar business.
When Megan isn’t at the salon, you can find her spending time with her beloved family and friends. She’s the wife of a very loving and supportive husband and the mother of three children, ages 9, 15, and 16. Megan and her husband love the North Webster community and she’s so grateful that she gets the opportunity to touch the lives of all that come through her salon doors.
Megan enjoys playing tennis, working out, and traveling. Her faith is extremely important to her and she’s an avid pursuer of Jesus and good coffee!
When asked to share advice with other women wanting to start their own business, Megan said,
“Do it! Put your best foot forward every day and work toward your goal! You CAN do it! There are lots of people in our county full of knowledge waiting on YOU to ask them for wisdom!”
