February 26th from 6am-10am, The Parkview center for healthy living in the Warsaw YMCA will be offering free health screenings. One of the free healthcare screenings being offered is a blood glucose test. Please call 260-672-6500 to register a spot.
There is a also a program the YMCA will offer, if you qualify, to participate in a Diabetes Prevention program. To find out more, contact Stacy Thomas, 574-269-9622.

Joe’s Kids, located at 3540 Commerce Drive, is a nonprofit pediatric rehab facility in Warsaw, IN which provides therapy to children who have special needs or developmental delays. Joe’s Kids are offering free developmental screenings at a walk-in clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25th, 2014. Be sure to mark your calender for October 3rd, 2014 to participate in health screenings for bone density and sugar levels. The screening will take place at Warsaw YMCA from 10:30 am to noon, and conducted by Parkview health. The YMCA has a special program for type 2 diabetics, and based off your screening, you could be eligible to participate. Take advantage of this local and free screening October 3rd, 2014.
